Life & safety skills suitable for children laid out in an autism friendly manner
Features SocialSkills for Autism Kloog2
Kloog 2 - Return to Zugopolis, is the second app in the Social Skills for Autism series and continues the journey of our alien character Kloog, through the social world that he finds difficult and challenging.
This app contains lessons which teach life and safety skills suitable for all children, but which have been laid out in an autism friendly manner.
It offers solutions to everyday difficulties experienced by all children.
This app looks at friendship and explores areas such as: What is a friend; Developing friendships; and how to recognise and respond to bullying.
This app introduces the user to a range of wonderful and interesting new characters, the planets where they live and the story of how they must learn to form friendships and work together.
The Social Skills for Autism app is the Intellectual Property of the Shine Centre for Autism in Ireland and is based on the very successful βPALSβ (Personal & Life Skills Programme) that has been running at the Centre since 2010.

What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.
"Uhhh"
Alicja Bendowska
"I have something really necessary to show you. It's Kloog2, the introduction autistic people need into the world of lies and manipulation that pro-establishment views call a normal life. If you hate your friend's sneakers, compliment their color and abandon the matter."
Allen Nelson
"Helps me focus."
Caleb Barnes
"YouTube dr panda video games in the 7 you'd like"
Tochi Michael
"A lot to learn"
Douglas Right
"Such an awesome tool for my remote clients!"
Lupe Gomez
"NOT meant for a person w/autism to use independently. Every lesson has multiple topics for the user to discuss w/someone else. Not to mention, if the user has trouble reading, they will need someone to read the screen. I like the concept & some of the topics. For example, the first lesson is about how not everyone is your friend (which some child or people w/autism struggle with). There's also a lesson on online safety."
Paula Wesson, RDN
"It helps autistic people to learn social skills.π₯°π£"
Rose Shepherd
"I completely disagree with you teaching kids it's okay to "white lie". There are ways you can teach kids to speak the truth without hurting people's feelings."
Jo Rocks
"I am a speech pathologist who teaches children social skills every day. This app has the right idea, and has selected some good concepts to teach kids. However, it is not done well. There is a lot of text and not a lot of action. It is basically hearing a lesson and then taking a quiz. I was really hoping to get to play through some actual scenarios. Knowing the types of kids who would benefit from the skills taught, they would get bored pretty quickly."
